The indian consulate needs a proof of address for me and my wife
We sent them the Property tax bill and hoped that it would work but get this mail from travisa
Proof Of Residence - Unacceptable
The proof of address received in your application is not acceptable for submission to the Indian Consulate. You must submit a proof of residence/address that matches the present address on the PIO application exactly. Photocopy of state issued ID (Driver License or ID), or major utility bill (Water, Gas, Electric, Sewage) or a copy of a lease containing both the landlord and tenant signatures must be submitted. The following items are not accepted: cell phone bill, credit card statement or bank statement. The address cannot include a P.O. box. For minors, a parent or guardian proof of address from both parents may be submitted instead. You can fax the proof of address to Fax: (415) 644-0158. In addition, you also have the option of mailing a paper copy to the address below.
Now why does not a property tax not work ? it is issues by the county.
We do not have the current address on my wife's driver's license and her name is not there on the PGandE bill

Sathya sai baba ???? You haven't known about his deeds, if you can find it read about great magician PC Sircar meeting him about 15 years ago. This is what PC said about him.

One of my ex-colleagues got his GC approved out of turn last year itself. He was EB3 - PD November 2005. They approved it for him, his wife and his two kids! He is a big devotee of Sathya Sai Baba and I think he certainly got his blessings on this one..!

I have applied EAD renewal to AZ lock box. It was delivered on Mar 29. I have not got any receipt so far. Also check is not cashed.
Now it is 30 days and I should be able to call USCIS.
I have two questions:
1. Mail was sent with delivery confirmation, which confirms delivery on Mar 29. What if the package is lost there? Could I applying again? How USCIS treats two applications?
2. I have not received any receipt, except I have delivery slip from Post Office. In counting 90 days, is it taken based on receipt or based on Post Office slip?

Greencard fever -why take so much pain with your gc when you plan to rellocate to india/currently its even hard to predict when can one receive the gc. One can always visit US on tourist visa which is the most easy part. My opinion is only if one does not want to settle in US -

Point is not wikipedia or other site. They should be relying on information provided in proper legal format and not on some internet based site. Example if some one is working for Microsoft and if I google the keywords I might get some website which says how MS products are bad and how Bill Gates has stolen technology from XEROX etc. Which is all nonsense and no way concerns with the application in hand's of the IO. So they have the liberty to ask for more information where ever they need but they should not prejudice themselves by reading internet based information.

i am not a lawyer and may be mistaken, but i was told that if one's spouse is using EAD, then you must be in EAD status and cannot be in H1 status (since then dependent spouse would be in H4 status and cannot work).
Can anyone confirm this?

SA 4319 is not being considered so far. It is not quoted anywhere except IV website. Because CIR is ruled out for 2010 any pro or anti immigrant bill will not be considered most likely. This is just fear that SA 4319 will be attached to any other bill. The chance of passing this bill is 1% without CIR. But with CIR there is 80% chance of attaching with CIR.
