Maybe I need more RAM, but I was dissapointed to be reminded of Virtual PC, the way it totally slows the rest of my Mac down...
If you are going to run two operating systems then your computer needs to have the resources for the sum of the two systems. So if Mac OSX needs 1GB to run well and so does Windows XP then you need 2GB of ram. Same for the CPU. If a 2Ghz is needed for Windows and a 2Ghz chip for MacOS then you need either a 4Ghz chip or a two core 2Ghz chip. You don't get anything for free. If you want to run two computers you need twice the hardware.
I'll bet this runs great on a Mac Pro

I have seen some transgenders, and I have nothing to say to them.
That's pretty messed up. Just because you feel uncomfortable with someone who doesn't identify as their birth gender doesn't mean they're somehow not worth your conversation.
Is it because of your religion? Christian perhaps? I wonder if Jesus would have been so dismissive of trans people too.

Just incase I get killed tonight, I'm pretty sure that eldiablojoe and Nies are the WW's.
I've added eldiablojoe to my list because when he is a wolf, he acts extremely gullible. When he was the seer he did not.
In this game, he said he didn't know what was going on in the narratives, and he seemed unaware that roles are chosen by random.org so it wouldn't matter what roles he had previously.

Here are the specs: iso 100, 120mm, 0 EV, f/5.6, 1/250.
EDIT: Not too bad! Obviously, the raw file looks better. I was photographing this squirrel who was about 15-20 feet away from me and he/she ran to me, stopped, posed, and ran away. :) The squirrel was super close to me, like 4 feet or so.

Apple launched revised MacBook Air models in the fall of 2010 by going SSD-only with speedy, but custom, small outline SSD modules made by Toshiba. However, some users are now reporting that the most recent MacBook Airs are using what appears to be a Samsung-made module, which is capable of 20-25 percent faster read and write speeds.
According to testing by AnandTech, an SSD that carries the model name SM128C turned in a read speed of 261.1 MBps and a write speed of 209.6 MBps. Those speeds are 24 percent and 19 percent faster, respectively, compared to the Toshiba-made SSDs (model TS128C) that originally shipped in the MacBook Air.
While the manufacturer hasn't been confirmed yet�Apple has not responded to our request for comment�AnandTech believes the "SM" in the model name refers to Samsung. The site noted that the tested speed ratings are comparable to other SSD drives built by Samsung.
We felt that the 11" MacBook Air was very responsive with its equipped SSD module in our review last fall, but a little extra performance never hurts. For now, though, there is no way to guarantee which SSD module you'll get when buying a MacBook Air, and neither Samsung nor Toshiba appear to be offering their modules to consumers. Well-known Mac upgrade source Other World Computing offers the only known replacement SSD modules for the MacBook Air, which are rated at similar performance levels as the purported Samsung modules. Why? I'd love to buy some Beats headphones. Like the style of it.
I bought the Beats Pro, for $300 dollars, and returned it the next day. No way those headphones are worth that much. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for those. Sound leakage is horrendous, and the sound quality is not $300 dollars worth to me. Got the BOSE OE Audio Headphones for $180, and couldn't be happier.
I can think of a few more reasons why you shouldn't get the Beats:
1. Overpriced
2. Overrated
3. U can find much better quality headphones, for much less.
4. The Solo ones will probably break on u in a few months of use, because, well, the built quality sucks.

I suppose I could use a standard AA battery recharger. I haven't seen one in use since about 10 years ago and they never used to be very good...
The current NiMH rechargeables are much, much better than the old NiCds; they last longer and allow more recharge cycles. They still don't last as long per cycle as an alkaline, but for battery-hungry gadgets NiMH is great.

To be honest, if you carry a TB to FW, RAID, PCIe expansions, whats the point of carrying an Air?
Are you really going to carry all those? If you want to travel with the thing, just take what you need. I can see an Air + external 2.5inch RAID being a nice minimalist setup for video editing.
Also, will they have to sacrifice a 2.0 USB port in order to intergrate a TB port?
Sounds like a good trade.
Idk why people say that the update affects only gamers. It affects almost everyone. OpenGLs, 3D, movies, etc.
How does it effect movies? This new GPU is easily powerful enough to decode video. Do you watch all your movies on fast forward or something?
And what are you using OpenGL for that needs that power? Most apps run fine without much acceleration.
Although I do believe the CPU will have an amazing boost, I think the GPU sacrifice will be a very huge one. But only time will tell.

These are all just rumours anyway.

I guess I must be old school, I'm a consumer and I think about my wallet before the corporations treasure chest. Apple isn't pumping most of the profits back int the company or paying it out to shareholders. It's sitting in the bank. Or maybe they have something unimaginably huge in mind and I guess that is a possibility.

I hope I'm not the only one disappointed that you see an i7 in 3 out of the 4 MBPs, but i7 is only available for an extra $180 in the iMac.
The i5 2400 costs $150 @ MicroCenter, and that's the processor they use in the $2000 iMac!!! This is why people say Macs are overpriced (and they most certainly are). That having been said, I'll be buying an MBA or MBP 13 soon enough.
One thing to consider -- the iMac slots into the "midrange" position for the Apple desktop family (above Mini, below Pro), while the MBP is in the "high end" position for the laptop family.
Not going to go into the spec-chasing / validating. People have feelings one way or the other, and discussing / arguing online isn't likely to change either side's opinion :-)
